When I got home from hanging out with Nick & Kim for a few hours my heart felt lighter, more joyful and I was thinking I have the best job in the world.  While we talked about how they met at Kim’s sister’s wedding at Longveiw Mansion we walked around the different rooms taking a few pics.  Then we walked out under the tent where they had their first dance and I had them dance :)  I loved it and I loved hearing their story and I loved how giddy they were around each other.  They didn’t hold back their smiles or silly faces to each other while I was there and I love that I can see those expressions in their photos.

They had fun and the photos show, and I even convinced Nick to wear a shirt that wasn’t steamed to perfection, lol!  I can’t wait to photograph their wedding a year from now!!

Super fave!!!

Seriously, how fun are they?!?!?!?!?

I have been SO SO SO excited to share this session!!!  I wanted to do something new, something fun, something to really get my creative mojo on :)  And I knew Erin & Jason would be a great couple for it!  So I talked with Melissa Evans, wonderful make-up artist and stylist, and we started coming up with some fun ideas that we wanted to style and shoot.  Of course pinterest was a big inspiration too!  I came up with the roller skating idea and before the end of the night, Melissa had a style board made!!  I loved her color ideas of yellows, reds and blues!!!  Erin and Jason were on board and had skates bought on ebay and great clothing options :)   Props for Jason for being game for our rollerskating idea :)  And to make it even more awesome, Mike Tsai came along to shoot video of me in action!  More of that to come later 😉  I have so many favorites!!!!!  Here are a few! ok, alot!

roller skates make for fun expressions!!

seriously…so endearing!  And yes, they really are that in love :)
