Melissa & Ed Married! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
When I am editing someone’s wedding photos, I feel a little bad sometimes that I get to relive all the awesome moments and parts of the day before I deliver the photos to the brides and grooms. But it is really fun to go through all of the photos that I took and all of them that my second photographer, Nate took and perfect them for the couple and their families I am excited to share Melissa & Ed’s photos of their wonderful wedding celebration. And I wanted to share a few from their engagement shoot that I haven’t shared yet! I flew to Dallas, where Melissa & Ed live, and we had a great time shooting around the city and a wonderful time having tacos and margaritas afterwards I enjoyed so much getting to know them. And if you are reading this and know these two, I am sure you also adore them, because it is impossible not to Ohhhhhh, I feel warm just thinking about this day in Texas! And now back to their wedding day!!!!! I will start with the girls getting ready and Melissa’s beautiful dress and super fab shoes! TWO incredible dresses and Jimmy Choos!!!!!!
Seriously, Melissa made my job so easy. She is such a beauty Craig Sole setting the handsome groom up with his boutonniere before he was to see his bride to be Their first look was so sweet And Melissa had a great surprise gift for Ed I have to say that I really really loved this wedding party too! Such a fun classy party! I will admit that I think this is extra great because of Edward’s dimples and Melissa’s arms Whoa guns! I am always a fan of a big champagne spray And this is what you call a movie star kiss!!!!!! Super favorite! Our Lady of Sorrows is one of my favorite churches. So Beautiful!!!! Beautiful flowers by Craig Sole Design! Their reception was at The Gallery, and it was so elegant!!!!!!!! While I thought the whole reception was incredible I was over the moon by this little touch. The way the lights hit the crystals made beautiful photos and a great way to separate the areas! So much fun to be had!!!!!!!!! I love the flower girl bribing the other with a starburst And of course Melissa’s reception dress!!! I am a sucker for this view! Every. Single. Time. Congratulations!!!!!!!! I hope you are having a super awesome time on your honeymoon!!!!!!
Betsy & Jim Married!!! {Kansas City Country Club Wedding Photographer}
Oh my gosh! What an incredible wedding to photograph! First off, I was already super excited to photograph such a beautiful bride with freckles and dimples to die for, second, the day was filled with beautiful moments and crazy fun!
Betsy & Jim started their day getting ready at the Kansas City Country Club, where they were having their reception. I was ecstatic about the beautiful light pouring in the bridal room. Crazy awesome photos straight out of the camera All the bridesmaids were so lovely as well-I hope I get to photograph some of their weddings as well :). Betsy’s robe and her mothers robe were adorned with beautiful lace made by Betsy’s mom! While I was taking photos of all the girl fun, my second photographer, Nate, was capturing the guys getting ready and smoking cigars…..you know…guy stuff
I will start with the girls room
I LOVED Betsy’s dress!!!! So beautiful!!!! And of course I am a huge Kate Spade wedding shoe fan! How cute are these robes?!?!?!? Dreamy bride in dreamy light! lovely classic florals! I love that not only did Betsy’s dad have a moment to see her before the groom, so did her brothers It was so fun seeing how much they care for each other. And then Jim got to see his bride! They were all smiles Super favorite! Ha! I love this look! THIS is how much fun the whole day was Another favorite!!! They were married at the Country Club Christian Church on such a beautiful September day! Betsy has a bit of music in her family. Her brother sang and played the guitar during the ceremony! All the rooms in the country club were so elegant! The reception dancing was outside on the patio. It was such a nice night to dance under the stars!!!!! With Kokomo getting the party started! The first great surprise was the flash mob Betsy’s mom arranged! So sun!!! Followed by a couple of songs her brother was singing. I love Betsy’s expression here, you can tell how much her brother means to her And then a guest of the wedding, Sheryl Crow (YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT-SHERYL CROW!!!!!) sung for everyone! Next thing I know, the bride, groom, both mob’s and Sheryl Crow are rocking the stage. Oh what a party it was! Dancing, laughing, singing and all around cheering…..all under the stars Thank you so much Betsy & Jim for trusting me with capturing such a special day. It was my pleasure
