Sarah & Nico Married! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
I am planning to get caught up on blogging the wonderful weddings I have been shooting this year! I have been editing and shooting and enjoying my family but have not been blogging I would love to see some comments on this blog post if you are reading it! I am always wondering where people are looking at photos and where my time is best spent. I love to post some pretties on my fb and instagram but the blog tells a bit of a wedding story through the whole day. So who still loves the blog, who is looking at the website (which needs some updating in a big way!) who is only looking at social media for wedding photos?
Sarah & Nico were married at the end of April in that one week that we actually had spring Approximately 10 days of spring this year and a lot of winter and straight into blazing hot weather. I was glad to get to photograph these two with some pretty pink flower trees which looked awesome with their dark hair and lovely skin tones! I was also super excited to book Sarah’s wedding since I took her and her sister’s senior photos and their mom was one of my son Zachary’s elementary teachers! Also super pumped to be photographing her sister Nicole’s wedding later this year! How exciting for them to have 2 weddings in a year! It was such a lovely day with a beautiful ceremony and reception! Here is a little preview of their day!
I was obsessed with the back of this dress! And this bathtub was calling my name for a photo op!
Both Mom and Sister got teared up when Sarah put on her veil!

Congratulation Nico & Sarah!!!!! Wishing you a lifetime of smiles and happiness
Congratulations to Courtney & Andrew! They should be on their whirl wind honeymoon adventure right now!! I loved being a part of their wedding day and getting to know their story a bit! They met in the Peace Corps while traveling and working in Fiji!!! How awesome is that?!?!?! They are just the kindest people with such a joy for life. And their happiness and ease with each other is so wonderful to witness They were married in Courtney’s hometown church in Kearney with a beautiful unique ceremony! Courtney’s own mother officiated the ceremony and Courtney’s Grandmother was the ring bearer
That was one of my favorite parts of the day
And they added some traditions from Fiji to their ceremony as well!!!!!
They celebrated with a reception at Terrace On Grand which was lovely as always with a wonderful rooftop cocktail hour in the middle of the city! Here are a few photos from the day!!!
And a big thank you to my 2nd photographer Christine May for doing a wonderful job as always!!!! How adorable is this baby girl!?!?!
