Dane & Lillie Married!!! {Elms Resort, Excelsior Springs Wedding Photographer}
Lillie & Dane were married at the Elm’s resort in Excelsior Springs on March 5th. It was the most beautiful day with the sun shining! Early March can be unpredictable but it was just the best day. Not only was the weather wonderful, the whole day was filled with smiles, laughs, a few happy tears and a whole lot of fun
It was so fun being witness to the whole day. Lillie and Dane are the kind of people that you feel like you have known forever. Everyone was so down to earth and fun loving that I knew this was not a day that I would see anyones feather’s getting ruffled. It would be perfect no matter what happened.
Their wedding planner Madi Sanders made sure everything flowed perfectly and the Elm’s Resort is always a great place to have everything you need right on grounds!
Lillie’s brother is my son’s fraternity brother so it was extra fun to have him along to help his preggo mama carry everything and of course have fun as well 😉
I will start with the girls getting ready photos! Lillie’s hair and makeup looked beautiful!!!
Beco flowers did a wonderful job as always!!!
Lillie’s cutie new niece!
I was so excited to hear about the dress Lillie wore to the rehearsal dinner. She had her mom’s wedding dress altered to a high-low dress and it was just beautiful! And I was so bummed I didn’t get to photograph her in it for the rehearsal that she put it on for a few shots for me
Yay!!!!!!! I just die about this photo of Lillie’s fabulous dress from Nolte’s with her mother’s dress in the background
!!!!!!!!!!

The guys having some fun while getting ready for the big day
How cool is this woodcarving made for them?!?!?!
One of my favorite parts of the day. When a father sees his daughter in her wedding dress. Especially his only daughter. Lillie has 3 brothers and grew up on a farm riding the tractor with her dad. Being a parent and having seen first hand how emotional it can be for a dad to see his baby girl grown up and getting married, I was betting on a tear or two
My son knows Buddy, Lillie’s dad to be one tough cookie and was betting against it, lol. But he is not a parent and does not yet know the power. It was a beautiful moment
While the guys were still getting ready, I photographed the lovely ladies around the Elms!
The bridesmaid’s dresses were so pretty and looked so beautiful against the green backgrounds!
What a stunning bride!!!!!!
Once I got the girls all tucked away so that Lillie & Dane would not see each other before the ceremony, I photographed the guys looking all handsome!
The ceremony was in the little church just across the street from the Elms. It is a beautiful old stone church with stained glass windows!
Dane seeing his bride for the first time on their wedding day
I was glad I caught this moment without even realizing what happened until later. It was such a good hug that it broke the dress, lol!
How adorable are the flower girls!?!!??!
What a fun good looking wedding party!
I love this romantic sweet photo
Another one of my favorites!!!
Another super fave!!!!
And THIS. This photo is totally them
The yummy mints were made by Lillie and her mom! They were super delish!
The pretty pinks with the gold glitter accents! So beautiful and elegant!
I was super excited when I saw Patrick Woolam was going to be singing! No doubt it would be a rocking party!!!!
Ha! The look in their eyes before the cake feeding. I knew it was going to be good 😉
Lillie’s niece didn’t want to be left out of the dance
Then the party got started! Bottom right of this group is my handsome son with Lillie’s handsome brother Charlie!
I love a nice night shot in front of the historic Elms!!!!
Congratulations to Dane and Lillie and the Raasch and Fitzpatrick families!!!!!!
