Mandy & Josh are married!!!!!    I was so excited when Mandy asked me to be her wedding photographer for her wedding at the Lake of the Ozarks!  I have known Mandy for a bit now as she is a makeup artist here in KC and has prettied up lots of my brides  She does such an awesome job and is so much  fun to be around that I always recommend her to my clients.   When I got to meet Josh I was even more excited for Mandy.  I could tell what a great guy he is and the way they look at each other is pretty awesome  I have a shot to prove it The weather was giving us a bit of trouble with all of our fun plans but it turned out to be a beautiful night and some very dynamic clouds for a few shots! I will start out with Mandy’s dress from Alter Bridal.  It was amazing, and it was fun to see Dede the owner of Alter Bridal at the wedding! My first bride to ever do her own makeup and all of her bridesmaids  On a side note~Dang your arms look good! Mandy’s niece is so adorable and she is now a big sister!!!!! The boys were downstairs prepping for the big day  I loved Josh’s color of his tie The weather kept changing from looking like it was going to rain any moment to maybe not at all.   So these two shots are my favorite prep shots.  Mandy!  O.M.G!  So pretty, and the hint of purple in her hair was so lovely The first look with her dad was so sweet Well, it wasn’t raining when we went to have Mandy & Josh’s first look at the point at Shady Gators.  But then it did and the wind was whipping through like crazy.  But still made for pretty photos These two photos show the look 😉  They have almost the same exact smile when they look at each other   Dude!  Holy calf muscle!  This group of guys were pretty funny.  This is how they made their pants to do a sock photo.  I was cracking up! I was so excited about this spot with all the trees and no rain and beautiful bride!!!!! Hello movie star kiss!!!!! And then this was the view out the window of the ceremony site before the ceremony This little guy loved me  or maybe my camera  He ran right to me during the ceremony! The blue skies turned crazy cool after the ceremony!  We worked fast and got in some awesome photo time before it started raining again Super fave! Hello cuties I am not going to lie, I have been thinking about these little lemon pies the whole time I have been editing the reception.  They were sooooooo good!  I wish I had one right now! I had a little fun with the ring shots to incorporate the lake in the reflection with great help from McKenna my assistant     Gosh, the lake is pretty at night with all the lights! Sometimes you just need a little nap after rocking the dance floor~right on the edge of the dance floor   Congratulations Mandy & Josh!!!!!!!!!  Smooches!!!!!
