Lauren & Matt Married! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
Matt and Lauren were married near brookside and had their wedding reception by the plaza just a few weeks before Christmas. What a wonderful way to spend time during the holidays. Celebrating love, family and friendships. It is already wonderfully festive near Christmas with the plaza lights but add a wedding to the mix with hints of evergreen decorations, it is enough to make one giddy And you could see that Lauren & Matt’s family and friends were just that…..giddy from the excitement and joy.
The day was a bit cool and drizzly to start but the drizzle subsided and the gentlemen lent the ladies their jackets while we were out photographing the bridal party at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
The day started out with everyone getting ready at the Plaza Marriott. Lauren’s dress was simply beautiful.
I am a lover of Kate Spade shoes, they are always so timeless and feminine.
How cute is Lauren’s mom?!?! And flowers by Craig Sole! Always great to see him
It was so sweet seeing Lauren laugh and cry while reading Matt’s letter and opening her gift from him
Seriously? What a beautiful bride!
Oh my goodness. I was totally tearing up when Lauren’s dad saw his baby girl in her wedding dress.
While I was hanging out with the girls, my second photographer, Jessica was photographing the boys getting ready
The pink bridesmaids dresses with the baby’s-breath flowers. LOVE!!!!
Adorbs
I really really love photographing brides 😉
Matt had me cracking up during these photos
One of my favorites!!!!
More favorites!!!!!!!
Love Jessica’s shot from the side!!!!
I may have underestimated the amount of goose poop we would have to walk through to get to a spot that was going to look fabulous in photos 😎 I am sure this will be a funny moment to think about years to come
Love this location for lovely winter photos
Worth the walk
Lauren is close with her grandpa and made a special time to see him before the ceremony. Super super sweet
Of course we had to stop for a few plaza lights photos!
The reception was at the Grand Street Cafe event space and was decorated so beautifully!
I can’t help but think about my husband dancing with our little girl at her wedding someday. Tears.
Then they busted out in some serious dancing moves.
I have to say that Lauren’s mom and all of her sorority sisters were really raising the fun bar at the reception. It was a battle of the sororities fun
Congratulations Lauren & Matt!!!!!!!!! Happy 2015 newlywedding!!!!!
