Allie & Ron Married!!! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
Oh my goodness! This summer has started off with some super fabulous wedding celebrations and Allie & Ron’s was definitely super fabulous!!!! I really loved Allie’s personality when we met so I knew I would love photographing her wedding. But then as the details kept coming, it just got better and better. I was SUPER excited that her reception was going to be at the Nelson Art Gallery ( my first time photographing a reception there!!) and they had a great team of wedding professionals all around! Holly Davidson, with Simple Elegance, was their wedding planner and made sure everything was running smoothly all day. The one thing that we didn’t have any control over was the weather which didn’t stress anyone out too much but it did rain off and on throughout the day. We were able to get some outside photos here and there when it wasn’t raining and everyone was having fun and excited about the whole day!
Also, a big thank you to my hardworking team, Nate Robinson~2nd photographer and Paige Kime~my intern!!!!
I will start with some of the fabulous details Gorgeous dress from Bridal Extraordinaire!
A little more bling with the Choos! And wowzers! Ron really picked out an amazing ring.
Allie reading Ron’s card was super sweet

Mary & Harley Married! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
Every now and then things just fall into the right place. That is how I feel about this wedding Mary emailed me just a few weeks before her and Harley were to be wed and it was the only Saturday I did not have booked in May. Their wedding was in Richmond, MO. I was glad I had it open, as I love small town weddings and intimate personal receptions. After a lovely drive through some small towns with lots of gorgeous green fields and no cell reception, I arrived at the church ahead of schedule completely refreshed and excited to meet everyone. It was such a wonderful ceremony that was truly personal and delightful. The ceremony reminded me of one of my favorite parts of weddings~getting to know the couple and families stories. I feel honored to get to know such wonderful people, and Mary & Harley are truly wonderful people. Neither of them had ever been married before and it seems even more special that they found each other and added to their happiness. Their families were so wonderful and full of love for the two of them.
Mary wore her mother’s wedding dress which was so beautiful and perfect.
And what a lovely church in Richmond, even more lovely with the florals from Craig Sole Designs!
I love this series, esp. the bottom right. That look a man gives his woman says it all.
All of the speeches given were wonderful, esp. Mary’s nieces, who adore their aunt and new uncle
Best aisle exit ever
The reception was at Mary’s parents home in Richmond and was sooooooo lovely!
The reception was casual, sophisticated and anything but traditional. Suited perfectly for them and their guests!
Big thanks to the Short’s for connecting me with Mary & Harley!
I am pretty sure anyone at this wedding will remember why Mary is making this face-esp. the dj. Ha!
Congratulations Mary & Harley and thank you for inviting me into your lives
