When you are a wedding photographer, you really get to see what someone is made of, what kind of person they are and hope to be for each other.  I am so glad to have gotten to know Erin & Tyler and their families over the last year.  It was amazing to watch them together starting their forever.  They are so fun, sweet and kind.   During the cake exchange, Erin was being fun and Tyler was being kind 😉  The sure fire way to start a perfect marriage, lol!

They were married at  St. John’s United Methodist which is such a beautiful church inside and out!  I love weddings there :)  And then their reception was at Midland Theater and if you have never been to the Midland then you are missing out :)  It was my first wedding reception to photograph there, but it is in my top 2 places in the city to watch a concert!  I saw my main man, Rob Thomas, there 😉   It was an amazingly beautiful reception with a surprise guest appearance from Willy the Wildcat!!!!  There was a lot of Kansas State loving going on for this wedding :)

Here are some of my favorite shots of the day and some from my rockstar associate shooter, Nate :)

I love love love the lace on Erin’s dress!

Erin’s fabulous shoes :)

I hope I am remembering this right, but I believe the two different laces on Erin’s flower’s are from both of her grandmother’s wedding dresses.  So wonderful :)

While Tyler waited to see his bride on their wedding day, it was so funny to see all of the little trick or treaters going to the Power & Light District.  And so many people were making the ooh and awe sounds as Erin approached Tyler for the first look :)

Me with the girlies

and Nate shooting the boys :)

I love Nate’s ring shot !

The ceremony!!!!!!!

The sun came in the windows during the ceremony making the most beautiful sunflare ever!!!
