Mark & Mallory married!!!!!! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
A big congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Van Winter!!! Yeah Mallory, you get to have the same amount of syllables in your last name, lol! What a wonderful and adventurous wedding day September 10th was. First of all it is exciting to be marrying your soulmate, second it is exciting to have your wedding on 9/10/11, third we started off your day meeting a fox!!!!! Yes, a skinny fox in the parking lot of Our Lady of Sorrows!! I even fed him a cheesestick!
Luckily for me, Mallory isn’t the kind of girl who gets her feather’s ruffled, at least I haven’t ever seen it
You know, wild animals, big storm, a little mud, walking up hills in a wedding dress….yep, no problem
Our forecast had been smooth sailing all week up until the day before the wedding and then of course some rain was moving in……the first drops were RIGHT when we pulled up to our first location! We made some adjustments and changed our location to somewhere dry or at least semi-dry, haha! And it was super cool! I love the changes we made and the fact that they were ready to roll with it, a great quality for a long happy marriage
My associate shooter, Nate , was shooting with me and got some rockin shots as well!! Cindy Patrick was Mallory’s wedding planner and I was so excited to work with her for the 3rd time!!!! She is awesome! I also have to say that if you are looking at venues, the Carriage Club is newly remodeled and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fully deserving of caps
Here is our cute hungry fox!

Mallory’s dress was so pretty and I love the hanger
Big thanks to Mal’s mom who gifted me the hanger so I will always have a pretty hanger for dress shots!!! She remembered me saying how nice it is to make sure to have a nice hanger for your dress for photos, yeah!!!!

Everytime I see these shoes I want a candy apple

While I was tucked away with the girlies, Nate got some shots of the boys!

And Nate’s view of Mallory getting ready for the aisle

Their first time seeing each other on their wedding day

Such a beautiful church! I am excited to have another wedding there Saturday!!!

Right after the ceremony.

15 minutes later

I love a good reflection shot!! Mallory should win some sort of high heel olympics the way she maneuvered around those rocks and brush creek in her heels!!

And here is a shot I have been wanting to do for awhile!!! Thanks to having a second shooter it rocked! I stayed with the wedding party on one side getting them arranged and Nate was across the creek nailing the shot! Yeah!! Love it!

The flowers by Design Botanica and cake by Take the Cake were so very beautiful as well!

I love all of the fun dancing shots! And check out the serious air the guy on the right is getting!!!

Megan & John Married!!!!!! {Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
When you have a super fun couple you get a super fun wedding!!!!! I love that Megan and John know how to have fun and are so comfortable in their own skin. I am sure they will never stop laughing and enjoying day after day of their lives together
They had a beautiful wedding at the Hawthorne House in Parkville and that reception room is now in my top faves
Also a big shout out to my second shooter of the day Mike Tsai who knocked it out of the ball park as well
I love Megan’s comfy pink shoes!!

Megan carried the same bible on her wedding day as her grandma! So I thought it would make a wonderful spot for the ring shot!

The first time seeing each other on their wedding day!!!

I have a great love for funny face photos and guess what…..so do Megan and John
Mike got great funny face shots of the boys while I took the girlies funny face photos
These just crack me up

fun entrance to the reception!!!!

Megan’s dress was so awesome for twirling!!!!!! This is Mike’s shot that I LOVE!!!

So then I had to take twirling shots too

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
