I was so excited to be asked to photograph Shelly and Mark’s wedding in Cosby, MO!  I went to high school with Shelly in Savannah, MO –Go Savages!!   So yes, I am a small town country girl at heart :)  Want to know something awesome about country girls?  They do not freak out if a spider gets caught in their wedding dress ;)

The church is such a beautiful country church  just a mile or so from where Shelly grew up.  It was a beautiful warm fall day with so many friends and family their to share in their joy!  For me,  it was a photographer’s dream to get to shoot some wedding photos at a nearby farm!  So many cool backgrounds!

Ok, on to share photos!

And the first time they see each other on their wedding day :)

and the “oh, so worth it shot that resulted in a few spiders”  :)

Gotta love some cornfield shots :)

one of my super faves!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the ceremony :)

How flippin excited am I about this ring shot?  Pretty flippin excited :)

The beautiful fall details at the reception!

Congratulations to you both on a beautiful wedding and an amazing journey ahead of you!!!!!

Kent is the brother of one of my previous grooms and the brother-in-law to my assistant Melissa :)   So I am so glad to be shooting their wedding next May!  My only hope is that the naked dance I missed at Justin and Melissa’s wedding after I left will be a repeat at Stephanie and Kent’s wedding, heeeheeeeheeee!

Melissa had lots of fun ideas of  silly things to get Kent to do on their engagement shoot, but I was nice and only made him do funny things that were good on camera, lol!!!

Here’s one of my favorites that we shot from the beginning of the shoot!

not only does Stephanie have cool eyes, but so does Kent!  That = babies with cool eyes :)

My recent new spot :)

I have also found a love for corn fields that have just been cut lately, more corn fields coming in next blog post :)

Now this makes me giggle!  Hula hooping in the street is pretty dang funny :)

We found this awesome spot to stop just as the sun was setting :)

And we worked it right to the end of the light!  This shot was shot at 2500 iso :)
