As I was driving to The Elms on this super hot Saturday in July, I had no worries. I knew that there wasn’t going to be anything that was going to get in the way of Jenna and Alex having the most wonderful wedding day. I knew that they would not let anything bother them on the day they were going to marry their soulmate. I knew that they would have fun because that is just them

I had the pleasure of photographing a sweet and intimate ceremony at Ophelia’s in dowtown Independence. If you haven’t been to downtown Indepence, you should stop by. They have the cutest shops and restaurants! And Ophelia’s food is amazing as well as the atmosphere! Perfect date night
I found a couple of sweet new locations just right around the corner! And luckily for me, the bride and groom trusted me and were willing to endure the warm temps to walk around a bit and get some cool shots The wedding and the reception were very elegant. I loved the little details. And just wait until you see this dress! I love it sooooooooooo much! It looks like it would be straight out of a classic movie! Here are a few of my favorites!
