What a wonderful day.  Catherine & Brent’s wedding day was just perfect.  I knew that it would be because even if something went different than what they had planned it would still be perfect  to them.  They were there to marry their soul mates and nothing would stop that.  It is always so nice to get to know my couples and see what they are all about and I had the pleasure of photographing Catherine & Brent’s engagement photos in Dallas, TX where they live and really get to know them.  And they are so wonderful.  They are a young athletic couple with tremendous faith.  It was really special seeing how important their church is to them and to their marriage.  They even flew in their minister from TX. After getting to know Catherine a bit, I feel like I can see my own daughter growing into the kind of lady Catherine is.  She is strong, kind, independent, self assured, funny and so beautiful on the outside as well as her heart.  And like Catherine’s parents, I would be very happy if my daughter someday finds a man like Brent.  I wish you a lifetime of football tackles and laughter Catherine’s dress was so beautiful.  I especially loved the lace shoulders Catherine getting her make up done by the talented Mandy McKenna-who’s wedding I will be photographing in the spring!!!!!! Prepare for flower girl overload here.  Couldn’t help it, she is just the cutest! She wanted to help bring the dress to Catherine There are certain looks Catherine has that remind me of Olivia Wilde, like this one It was really awesome to see how close Catherine and her dad are. The handsome groom prepping for the day! Brent was all smiles seeing his bride to be for the first time walking down the aisle Such a beautiful ceremony LOVE some sun flare!!!! One of my favorites here! This crew was FUN for sure! It is always fun to do a group of funny photo poses and this one is even more awesome with the photo bombers Another fave!!!! Maybe my top favorite.  It is like you can really feel how much they love each other CHECK OUT THE CAKE!  So awesome!  If you can’t tell, Brent is a football player   And gosh, what a lovely evening for the cocktail hour outside at Holbrook! Now this series is so them.  I can’t quite remember what I was trying to get them to do but we definitely misunderstood each other and it turned out so funny and perfect  And seriously, Catherine could have ran a marathon in her dress! The golden hour…….awe……..how I love this time! I really love seeing engagement photos I have taken in print and was so excited to see this one as it was one of my favorites! Catherine’s dance with her father had a fun twist!  They broke out in several fun dances! Super fun dancing!  I really loved seeing their minister breaking it down! St. Thomas Aquinas!!!!!!!!!
