My nominee is Jennifer. She is an advocate at Hope House, which is a domestic violence shelter in Lee's Summit and Independence. She is dedicated to her job, and is one of the hardest workers at the shelter. Since working with her over the past year, I have seen her go through more struggles than one person should have in ten years, let alone all in one year. She is a single mother, supporting her 10 year old daughter on a social worker's salary. She lives paycheck to paycheck just to make sure her daughter is kept in a good school district, and has other debt she is trying to take care of. Around last March or so, Jennifer's older brother passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. Then, this past summer, her mother passed away who was suffering from severe diabetes, and then developed cancer that quickly shortened her life. Jennifer just recently got engaged, with a wedding to take place in February or March. Your photos are so beautiful, I'm sure she would truly appreciate your services this season whether it's engagement photos, or just a session for she and her daughter.
